Rider Levels

At VQ Equestrian we are a huge advocate of the rider level training program. The program allows riders to achieve certificates at each stage in their riding, where they accomplish different skills and milestones before moving onto the next step. This allows riders the qualifications needed to eventually become certified coaches or trainers and is also an excellent way for them to extend their knowledge beyond what is learned in the saddle. Participating in the rider level program gives riders specific goals to work towards and looks great as an extracurricular for those wishing to move into the animal/science field when applying to university or college.

The rider level programs run from levels 1 - 8 and provides riders the ability to not only enhance their riding but focuses on the overall barn knowledge and care of their horses. Each test is comprised of a practical in barn, a riding test, and a written test all completed in half a day. 

The program is $50.00 for every session and takes place twice a month.

Testing typically is $250.00 for the practice test and $200.00 for the final test.

Testing takes place annually.
