Vanessa began her career in the equine world professionally, studying at Meredith Manor Equestrian College in the United States, where she achieved her Equine Business Management Certificate, Training Certificate and Coaching Certificate. From there, she travelled to Edmonton, Alberta where she worked backing horses and getting them started from the ground up. She has shown successfully throughout North America, competing in equitation, hunter and jumper rings. Having been in the equine industry for nearly two decades, Vanessa brings a wealth of knowledge and passion into every aspect of VQ Equestrian. Her coaching techniques go beyond what is taught in the saddle to instilling a sense of confidence, responsibility, maturity, and respect among the students she coaches.
